Illuminate: Glimmer of Hope

ILLUMINATE is a collection of illustrations depicting light amidst darkness. The inspiration came when I was in a depressive state, battling feelings of hopelessness and the meaninglessness of life.

Glimmer of Hope, the second installment for the Illuminate Series, is my letter to God, thanking Him for His faithfulness - for when I thought all hope has been lost, He called unto me, and gave me a reason to continue my journey once more.

Indeed, as Corrie ten Boom said, “There is no pit so deep that God’s love is not deeper still.”

Put your hope in God and always have an open heart, so you don't fail to see God's glimmers of hope, which can take the form of a friend who suffered the same pain, a complete stranger, a random quote or bible verse, or a furry companion.

Let us make it a habit to encourage one another and help illuminate the dark world through the Word of Life.

"He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him." Psalm 40:2-3
